My Last Night

I remember the first day of college showing up with a guy ive known all my life (rob) and a third wheel named tony. I didn't really know what to expect. My RA seemed kinda odd the first day. The other guys were all already friends and were really welcoming and instantly we had friends. Putting three super friendly outgoing people in one tiny room is a recipe for fun. And fun we had this year. Climbing the bluffs and getting chased by a golf course manager on a gator, going to madison for halloween, getting the first snow day in forever, sharing Christmas gifts, coming back knowing rob would be leaving us, playing intramural basketball, lifting weights, playing ultimate ninja, growing in a universal hate towards cafe food, talking till three in the morning, playing ping pong like everyday, and millions of other things.

The year was super fast. I'm not sure where it went. I went from a stupid freshman knowing nothing to a going-to-be RA and knowing all the ins and outs of the majority of things on campus. Also everyone pitied us for having to live in a double room with three people, but i wouldn't have had it any other way. We will miss you tons next year rob. But not the year is over. I sit here at two in the morning in an empty room with my choice of three beds to sleep in, wondering how all of this crap laying around will fit into a car. Also im not sure how i will fall asleep tonight being the only person in this tiny room. It's very different when you have one people in a 25 sq foot room versus three.

Well that's enough moooshy silly crap for the night. I dunno if i will ever write in here again, so i bid all of you that still read this....my dad and grandfather and sister, adu!

Now all i have to say is that i didn't get to play Zach nearly enough and by the end of the year as in the last three weeks i could beat tony any day and pretty much was an equal player for the most part. So all in all the award of MVP goes to Zach, but the most improved player of the year goes to Pete. I'm pretty good now.

The End of Rob

He's gone, he's gone. Rob left with his mother this afternoon. He didn't leave in tears which was a disappointment but he did leave a hero. Rob dominated college. Walked in a stupid freshman like all of us but within seconds he was pretty much a senior. He took over the newspaper here on campus and made all the professors his students. Joe Gow was even a little threatened at his chancellor position but rob told him he didn't have time for silly things like that.

But now rob is gone and tony and i are here alone doing our best to survive. I had a econ test today and i think it went pretty well. Hopefully well enough that i got an 'A' in the class but at least well enough to not let me drop below a 'B'. Tomorrow i have chemistry and then i am officially dont with my freshman year of college.

Running Out Of Time

The end has neared and soon it was be here. I haven't been writing as consistently in the blog this semester but hey im in college i can do what i want. God has gifted us was horrible weather so i have been able to concentrate for extended periods of time inside. If it were nice out i probably wouldn't be doing so well but so far so good. Tomorrow i have my first exams. The two i have are actually just like regular tests for the most part so it's a good way to get things moving along, but then thursday and friday they get tougher and i need to get good grades to keep my letter grades high. So yeah not looking forward to them but i did some reasoning and the better prepared i am the fast the exam will go and the faster i will reach summer.

Today tony and i attempted to max out on the bench press. Tony got 195 and was very close to 205 and i got 225 and 235 was right there but i was stuck and tony gave me a tap and then i finished it. Tonight has been pretty crazy. Tony and i spent the night listening to either classical or lady gaga as we studied away. But rob came in and then all the focus was gone. Shouting matches were started and well i had to leave the room.

Birthday Weekend!!!

Lauren's birthday is today and things are crazy, with a k.....krazy. But not really but kinda of. I finally got my internet finder to find lauren's internet and now i can write to you. Umm i arrived friday aboutish the time lauren parents arrived from Green Bay. They smelled of Packers and Cheese. But anyways that night we went to this men's choir concert, pretty cool, and then just hung out at the Super 8. Yeah i slept on the floor, it was awesome.

Yesterday we did a lot. We pretty much went to random places like parks and walked around. It was super cold, and at one point we climbed up a ski jump hill and then it started snowing slash hailing on us. That wasn't cool. But after we got inside the V8 Hemi jeep we were toasty warm. We ate out twice once at a cafe for lunch and then i handed really old books one being 201 years old, and then we went to a grill and i had a steak. Every steak i eat is not as good as the ones i make.

Today was fun. Oh we went to mass yesterday night so we slightly slept in slash until nancy wouldn't let us sleep any longer which was like nine. Anyways it was super nice out today so we first went and filled up the V8 Hemi jeep with lauren's extra stuff and then we walked through Putnam park here on campus. That was super nice. After all that we headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings. I had this burger with lettuce tomato burger pulled pork and onion rings. Kinda crazy, but it was delicious. After all of that lauren sang for us at her concert and now im here because ill drive to la crosse tomorrow because i dont have tests until wednesday.

We chatted it was nice, but the entire time we chatted i wasn't positive if it was rob. Maybe my brain is just changing every one's voice to rob's. I wont see him ever again after five more days...

Soo Ever Soo Close

Rob and i were over at the open gym again doing back flips, but today we were on our own. Jamie's dad was in town so we didn't have a teacher. It was interesting. For the first half hour were just kept telling each other to do a back flip. Then we sat in the other room and literally every single person did a back flip or more while we were in there, and there were like 20 people. Soo we headed back and worked on them. I got it down pretty well, rob was in a mental block, but both of us couldn't get the form down. It just didn't feel right, but we tried.

Soo finished us some more classes today. Had the last theater appreciation, and last economics of the year. Pretty exciting stuff. Got to start studying soon for finals.... especially cause it's lauren's birthday this weekend. Sooo about, we have these things called "Hutch Bucks" hutch because of the dorm we live in, Hutch. But anyways at the end of semester we put these bucks that we earned for studying into a raffle, and win stuff. I won Lost Season 5, i will give it to lauren for her birthday. Wooo!

Tony Whispers In His Bed

As i type to you my beloved fans i can't get the tiny whispers of tony (my suite mate) on the phone attempting to have a private conversation in a room the size of many people's closet that has two other men living in it out of my head. Silly tony. Oh well. Soo we had a plethora of weather today. First off i wore a sweatshirt to my first class, bad idea it was super hot. It continued at that hotness for most of the day and i had my last sociology class today and then my last exercise science class after that. I then found myself on a scorching hot sand pit playing volleyball for an hour before headed over to the econ office to pick up five points of extra credit. Nice.

It was soon after this the weather started to change. As we walked to eat it was sprinkling. As we ate it was pouring out like super hard core. After we ate it was warm and dry as we walked to the dorm. Now its cool and raining. Crazy huh.

Final Push

Speaking of finals, i finally spoke with mother about her aging. Also this weekend of working is finally over, and the play is finally over. Wow craziness. I'm super hungry by the way. Today was pretty packed. I woke up at ten thirty thinking i was gunna go to church at eleven fifteen, decided it was a better idea to go at night mainly from an eating stand point. Sooo i went and got a hardy breakfast of eggs and hash browns, and then after re-doing some some on tiger woods PGA tour that got deleted when the game froze last night, i headed over to the Theater.

Today was the last day for the play, and besides missing my cue to make sure a girl did bounce off a mat when she falls, ever thing went well. I smoked the task of opening and closing the elevator doors. But since this was the last day we had strike after. At this point i was just mildly hungry but the work was just starting. So as i moved wood around in my nice black pants and shirt i couldn't get my father's voice yelling at me to get my nice clothes off before i ruined them. I dont think i did. But after unscrewing things for well three hours, we were finished and they gave a pizza, which was good because for the last forty minutes i was soo hungry everything i did made me light headed. But i was back here around six thirty with just enough time to change and head to church where i served communion. And last but not least, i studied first aid stuff while working from nine till midnight.
