I'm Home!

Wow i'm finally here back at my house for a whole month. It wasn't easy leaving my suite mates alone to fend for themselves on the campus but i trust that they will make do. It was amazing how much bigger the room felt with all my stuff gone. I hope those two don't get any ideas in the next two days. By the way 'Hi' rob and tony.

Today today what happened today. Well i took my last exam, HPR, and then ate breakfast by myself. My dad showed up an hour later and we headed home. I drove and dealt with his backseat driving because well he's my dad and i know im a great driver so he couldn't shake me. On and then we saw a hit and run. Crazy stuff.

Today was also jessie and anna's (my sisters) birthday. They share. We all went out bowling and it was awesome. Cousin sam even and lauren were there plus dan and rachael are home too. We had a blast. Italian Flag shirts.

Well i think i'll be taking a break for a while. I might stop by every once and a while but i think i might wait until next semester to start it up again. So stop in periodically but starting Jan 25th 2010 i'll be back and all eleven of you devoted readers can still join in the adventures of 119 in the college world.

I Did It By Accident

I am now following my own blog. Pretty cool huh, i can read what my creative genius Carol comes up with to entertain all of my 9 readers. Well devoted people, tomorrow is my last day on the island for awhile. I have an HPR exam in the morn and then my beautiful papa will be here to pick me up. The suite mates arn't thrilled but hey, it's my time to shine.

Today i played my first five on five action at the rec center. I dropped a few treys but i just wasn't in my prime. Next semester hopefully. I just need some new shoes.

I dunno what else to say except these stupid extreme quiet hours are really ticking me off. I do my best to stretch the rules to the max without getting in trouble. Life is better that way. Suite mate tony has been watching sponge bob as of late but after finishing some 42 episodes he has moved onto pokemon. Ash is pretty much a really concieted stupid child and just beat Brock only out of luck that Brock's long lost father showed up and told him the way to beat him. Bunch of BC.

One Down Four To Go

Started poorly but i feel it finished strong. This was how my bio exam went today. I just felt stupider with every question for awhile but then i got on a role. The teacher shouldn't put hard questions until the middle on the exam. Unfair. Tomorrow i have music appreciation which im studying for right now and also german. It should hopefully go well. Studying more should help. I just really want it all to be over, and well in a couple days it will be.

Today tony and i went to the penance ceremony at the newman center which was really nice especially in advent and then we studied in the basement for awhile because they are open twenty four seven and provide food and coffee and hot chocolate. They take care of you over there. Also it is extreme quiet hours here today and well im a loud person so it's better if im gone.

Just Dance

I just got in an awesome slugfest in the hall with my suite tony. Rob and i addressed tony's scariness this evening. You see tony approaches you with his arms and hands out like he's going to strangle you. It's just really scary and it causes us to retaliate and well he always says i just want a hug. BC. That's all i have to say. Anyways i hope tony starts to really think about how he approaches me and perhaps he will make it more obvious when he wants a hug and when he's going to attack me. Just thinking of this makes me shutter and now he is staring at me really close with his hands out and i want to cry. "Just don't punch me in the face" is what he just whispered.

I can't talk about that anymore. Today was cold. I like that feeling when all the boogers in your nose freeze instantly but then you get to class you have this cray waterfall of boogers and you can't do anything but sniffle and play that some of the little gnomes in your body will block up the boogers and save you the humiliation.

Tony is about to body slam rob off a chair. It's his little "experiment."

Rob's response.... "i have jackrabbit legs and i can't always control them."

Tony: Every time he moves there will be a consequence

Rob: I may be the timid one but ill beat you

Tony: It's going to be like saw

Rob: You're goin to use a saw?

The attack is on...

Rob: Just let it happen, just let it happen

Tony: He just attacked me like a jack rabbit. He's a rabid dog.

Counting Down

Our time as first semester suite mates here at UW Lax is winding down. Sad times? No. I can't wait for home and with every stupid assignment i finish i get one step closer. I got great news today that my exam won't be on tuesday but instead is an online exam. I can live with that.
Today, well i think it was good. I went to german and returned and then to HPR where all we had to do was a teacher evaluation and then went to CST where we just listened to speeches and heard about the new exam time. Yeah that qualifies as a good day. Then after finishing two papers i went to a german movie in the giant auditorium and watched "Goodbye Lenin". It was good.

Also today tony looked up the olympic rules to ping pong so that we could start training. From what i saw we're going to need a lot more practice. 2024 Olympics here we come!
I think i'm going to retire to my bed now and be jealous of Lauren being done with the semester tomorrow.

I Was Tired OK!

I would have written to you all last night, but hey i was tired and my head hurt, a lot. Don't worry mom i didn't take any advil. Anypoo yesterday yesterday the day with no potential. So yeah, after a delicious breakfast tony, rob, and i left lauren to her studies as we took place in snow football game. It was fantastic except for our 0-2 record but ill blame the poor receivers. It was all out tackle football with lines and everything and well i was qb again, but it was not as great as last year. The line well i dont blame them because people were just blitzing from all over and well i scrambled like one of mike vick's dogs but achieved the same results as they did. It was a lot of fun though and except for the frost bite and super sore body today i have no regrets of the loss.
Then at night time after my ankle swelling went down from my frostbite lauren and i went down to the rotatory lights down by the river. It was pretty cool there were tons of light and a live manger scene put of by a church. We also took a carriage ride around the lights with a huge horse. Pretty cool.

So today we went a great mass where we had to sit in back because i guess 11:15 is the popular mass. I wish we had a ten o'clock mass because that's the perfect time for mass i think. Not too early not too late. Anyways after that came back here and watched the packers play a strangely poor game and ate some domino's pizza courtesy of my parent's care package. So anyways we watched as the packers were oddly unproductive on the score board in a productive game. Also Aaron's uncharacteristic play is troubling. After the game and helping david the assistant hall director move toilet paper Lauren headed home. Sad day. But i'm glad she visited it was a great weekend.

Now after six hours of homework i think its almost time for bed after i finish some stuff up. Oh and tony has decided to stop talking to us again. It's crazy how different it is when he is not talking versus not talking on purpose. Creates a strange atmosphere in the room like the everyone that lived along the mason dixon line, except we don't have any slaves in our room. I'm not sure if that sentence was politically correct.

Our Almost Surprise Visitor

So my suite mate rob gets a call from lauren the other day, but he missed it so i call her for him, all she said is she had a "calculus problem". Now this may seem plausible but she hasn't asked for calc help in a bout a month and a half now. Next she started asking a lot of questions about when i was going to be places and when i would be back. Now usually we speak in generalizations so this tipped me off and i wasn't surprised when she showed up. Happy would be a better term.

So anyways today, today, what about today. I know you as my vivid...dont care if that fits..... readers just want to hear about my day. You all flock to the blog to catch a glimpse of what my life, the crazy life i live, is like. Well i'm not goin to disappoint. Today was a good day like most others. I started my day with a wonderful seven forty five cruise around in some inline skates at HPR this morn, and then proceded to attend my small group german class meeting where they still continue to speak in gibberish no matter how much i plead. Can't win 'em all. Afterwards breakfast somewheres i went to Music Appreciation. We had a little tiny professor jazz band play for class and i liked it. That's when the day took a turn i wasn't ready for.

After mild argument about nonsense that really wasn't real suite mate tony declared, "I'm not talking or touching either of you the rest of the day!" Now being quick on my tongue and always in the mood for food i said "i'll bet you three pizza's you can't do it" and well he couldn't. We went lifting and not two minutes into it he had tapped me on the shoulder and talked to me. Oh tony. Anyways we got back and Zach the RA relaid down the rules and well tony did a pretty good job with these. We left him and went Christmas shopping where i learned that fill in the blank as you please. We returned home and by ten thirty tony was begging to have the bet raised. We did. We also now have a pizza party and a personal slave for tomorrow. His suggestions.

Midnight Munchies!

Today was a cold day full of snow. I still biked to class and well after my face thawed out it was a pretty good day. I got a 90% on my german test and had my last bio lab ever.....for this semester. I also had to go to bio lecture where i pretty much could have taken the best nap of my life. I didn't, but it would have been good.

Tonight is midnight munchies. It is a festivity that is held every thursday night where there are snacks sold in the front lobby for anyone to buy. Eric, my cube mate and fellow cube rep, and i are in charge tonight. While eric has been playing super loud music from his lap top i have been finishing my new favorite movie for the night, "Drunken Master." It is a Jacky Chan original from well probably the eighties. He even spelled his name with a 'y' instead of 'ie'. Pretty awesome movie though, you could hulu it.

Also tonight i felt very very special because my great friend joe weiss called me up to ask if he could write about failing his snowday also. I know i didn't really invent it and well joe knows that too, but it felt very special to have him call me up and ask to borrow my words. It was a happy day.

A College Snowday!!!

"They don't have snowdays in college," is what they said. The teachers, the staff, the students, Josh DeMorett, they all feel stupid now. There is only one problem. I failed the snowday. The only task of a snowday is to play in the snow and well i didn't. Son of the a gun, Lauren told me all day,"you gotta play in the snow" but i didn't.

Oh by the way Al Gore wouldn't let me long in yesterday again and so it was lost from history and is now a day that never happened.

But really nothing happened that i can remember. But today, oh wow, besides failing my snowday, so much happened. First off the only really important thing and the only i'll even be telling you about today is the fact that we rearranged the room. It's pretty much awesome and resembles a cave somewhat if you use a little imagination. We turn a loft sideways so you have to duck to enter the room and rob's new lowered bed in between the desks has created an awesome little hiding safety phone booth for me under my desk. Plus i get to sit on a squishy bed instead of a hard desk chair. You'll have to just come visit if you really wanna see what the room looks like.

One Day Closer

I really was upset yesterday when tried to sign in to divulge my deepest secrets to the world and the stupid internet that stupid Al Gore invented wouldn't let me. You see sometimes here at UWL the internet gets lazy and doesn't want to do things including loading audio files for my German homework, but don't worry mom i did it this morning. I was just really frustrated and well now i can't remember any of my secrets to tell you.... oh well. Here's one i don't like goat cheese.

I don't remember what happened yesterday, no not because i was drinking but because well i don't remember. Let me consult with my suite mate rob......
Mmm this is what we've got. I went to church in the morning because there was no Packer game. I returned home to find my suite mate Anth already back from Klingert Christmas. Bonus:He's healthy again. So i just watched some football and attempted to do homework until i realized it wasn't goin to happen, so i went to the basement and caught the rest of the Bucks game with my cube mates and then continued to work on homework in isolation. Better results. That evening nothing much happened until i fell asleep.

Perfect connection into day. I woke up full of energy, false. I didn't want to wake up, but i did and went to German where i think i got all the questions on the listening part of our exam. Tomorrow is the real test. I can't continue with this nonsense. The Packers are attempting to throw another game and well after Donald threw the ball off his knee to the Ravens... I can't believe this. I'm real angry right now. And will someone please castrate Tramon Williams.

Ah Cuss

I didn't write yesterday did i. It was too late to write anything and while the day.... no it was a day worth writing about, but let me think as to what happened first.............

Yesterday i joined the ranks of some of the great men of all time, the men that tried too hard, the men that didn't let women or children stand in the way, the men that weren't afraid to break out in full sweat, the Harrison Barton's and the Jordan Heorning's of the world, the GYM CLASS HEROES. The sport was speed ball. The hero was me. I must have scored an infinity of goals and pretty much carried my team on my shoulders to two straight victories. Just another walk in the Mitchell Hall that's all.

Tony left yesterday for Klingert Christmas, and i although attempted to sneak into the back of the car it was pretty obvious i was not welcome. It was just the aura coming out of the car or maybe that was the exhaust, but either way i decided to stay. To mourn the loss of one of our suite mates rob and i devoted this weekend to nothing. I watched four movies last night while typing a concert review and only left to buy junk food at the Sub shop.

Today the Hutch Hall leadership council took place. It was good. I learned the three C's of leadership and some secrets and how to judge people. Well at least it was something like that. I had a real good time and a little Mouse and Maurine, napoleon ice cream. Tonight i attempted homework and we're watching 'White Christmas' right now.

J-j-j-jenny and the Bets

Today was a day for the history books. Suite 119 engaged in its first fight. Crazy stuff. No, there was no blood, no guts, or animal traps, it was a verbal fight. Apparently suite mate rob was not very happy about his Kleenex being gone, and while i tried to point out how my box of tissues was also empty tony was quick to add that his box disappeared before the first month of school was over. The fight must have last a good three minutes. I wept a little afterwards but after a group cuddle we were all better.

It snowed today! I'm not sure if the exclamation point is necessary, but i suppose it was exciting so to celebrate we are having a suite mate Elf party. We've started cooking the hot chocolate and were about the start the movie so shhh.

Repeats Already?

My suite mate tony just informed me that the pic of yesterday was a repeat. Wow how bad am i that out of all the trillions of pictures in the world i choice the same one twice in seventy six entries. Oh man is that embarrassing. But who else would notice besides tony.

Today i was complaining about something in German class and Dan, who used to be Jesus but has recently shortened his hair to a point where he's either a really hip Jesus or not Jesus, made a very eye opening point. He said to me, "image how much worse it would be if you didn't have legs, you'd be like crap i failed this and i don't have any legs." I found this very inspiring and i hope you use it the rest of my life and i encourage you to follow his teaching also.

This Monday marked the end of the summer camp feel. Perhaps i already addressed this at some point but truly the return after thanksgiving really took all the fun out of it and the summer camp feel is gone. But hey, i never went to summer camp so who really cares. Well not me for one.

Major Buzz Kill

So waking up today, actually not that bad not going to lie. Walking into german with my fly open another story. Luckily i don't think anyone noticed, but it took me a good fifteen minutes to slowly close the chamber doors without anyone hearing the clanging of pure embarrassment as the two iron halves of our gates meet each other. I dunno who ever thought of the good ole barn door. They were either a genius or really lazy, but no matter what i'm thankful.

So the term is winding down and it's crunch time. I made good headway on finishing up some busy work and hopefully by the end of this weekend i'll be ready to start studying for finals. WHAT!?! Well that should really be in quotations because well that's what just ran through my father's head. This child of his who only studied for two test more than a day before them in his whole school career is going to study a week ahead of time. It's a college thing.
