I Lied Today

The situation made it a necessity. The snow was flying, the bands were playing, and the man wanted to know if i was in the band. Well naturally with my trumpet case it was clear that i had played with an earlier high school band. I think that was clear. Lauren was playing the closing at a high school marching band concert along with her 270 bandmates all of which look silly with a feather sticking out of their hats.

Oh and i have a strange coincidence for you all. So im sitting there and the man man behind me says man are you cold? and im like yay its snowing and my butt is in pain. And we get talking and turns out out of all the people in the crowd i sat next to a student at UWL who is there to watch his girlfriend play trumpet in the eau claire marching band. Oh and he lives down the street from me. Small world.
