What Is With These Bird Stories

Well i dunno if it's something in the water or what but suddenly these two bird stories have entered my life and i feel i must share them with you.

First off, i believe it was saturday..... yes im quite sure it was and i was just sitting in my room with matt and josh. Matt was helping coach me in my madden game and josh was making sure that my self esteem didn't get to high by telling me how bad i was, when andrew from down the hall comes walking in. He says 'Hey do you know where jason is we need to clean this duck' and we all say 'What?!' and sure enough he lifts up his jacket and in nothing else but a mcdonald's bag he has a dead duck with blood on it that he shot while hunting that morning. Well he found jason and they cleaned the duck right there on the front steps of Hutch hall. Pretty cool.

Secondly i heard this story today from my bearded wonder brother who lives in the U.P. and extends the definition of a man every day that he lives. Anypoo i was chatting with dan on skype about our weekends, and well dan just happened to have spent his weekend with his lovely wife rachael at a friends cabin where they went grouse hunting. As the story unfolded my disappointment grew at the fact that my brother couldn't kill small innocent creatures, until this final moment. After sneaking up on a bird in a tree, how you sneak up on a bird i dunno but he did it, he blasted it out from thirty feet with a head shot. Now this is where it gets good, at this point dan upped andrew by infinite measures. He field dressed that bird right there. After twirling the bird by its head to break the neck he stepped on the wings and pulled its legs right out of its body. WOW! Then after removing the head and wings with his knife the dressing was complete. Amazing! His beard probably grew with every bit that he yanked the legs out and i can now see why he only killed on bird, because since he did not pack a beard trimmer driving home with a ten foot beard would have been out of the question. Dang he's smart.
